In Kindergarten, we have been learning about measurement. Students have been exploring size and weight by comparing objects using a scale. They are using terms like "lighter" and "heavier" when describing the ends of the scale. We have been measuring items using different manipulatives (tools) in our classroom. Comparing student heights by lining up based on height has been a fun way to learn measurement.
